“I got married in 2023 with very last minute planning. Our venue package came with a photographer but they were very strict with the duration we could have them for and we were concerned that it would not be enough time to take pictures of our special day. That’s where Nick and Akebono Productions came in! After our ceremony, we relocated to the beach where my husband proposed to me to take additional pictures with Nik. Although it was his first time there, he had done research ahead of time on areas and backgrounds that would look best. His wife Midori was also so helpful in arranging my dress and assisting in any way she could. We took pictures with some poses that Nik had planned and some spontaneous ones. He did amazing in recognizing when a certain spot would look great as a shot. He was able to capture our emotions and happiness so perfectly and the candid shots he took are some of my favorites. When we received the final versions of our pictures after editing, we were blown away! Our family and friends who saw the pictures were amazed and some even got emotional at how beautiful they were. Many actually said that they liked Nik’s photos more than the ones that were taken by the other photographer, and I regret not asking him to take my pictures at the ceremony venue too. You can tell from the quality of his work that he cares about his clients and community. I cannot stress enough how wonderful my experience was working with Akebono Productions. 100/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
